This monday when it came time for my guitar lesson I just couldn't make it. Class is becoming annoying because it is the same thing every time and no one is really getting much better, I just needed to take a break from class to just practice on my own. Plus my boyfriends mom was in town from Nashville and not to mention I am in desperate need of a new job so I spent the class period driving around applying for jobs and upon returning to my home I sat and made myself go back to the beginning of the song book and sit there and practice the chord transitions over and over until my fingers felt they were going to fall off. I feel that helped me improve so much more than going to class. Skipping class yes, is indeed bad. But now when I go to class next week I will have a whole different view on things because I can actually keep up for once, now to just keep up the practice. I am actually off work tomorrow so I will try to get in more practice time than and hopefully start taking off in my ability to play the guitar. For now though I have got to go back to work even though I just got back from there at midnight. *Sigh* The life of a student........
There is only 2 more chords in our beginners song book to learn than it appears we are going to be learning Major scales so I think things are about to get real complicated in class. No more skipping out!
